Closing Out 2010

I told you so! I promised! I really did go shopping! Now you only see a handful of blankies here but I bought 12 sets of 2 plus 5 more. Every two cost me $3.00 on clearance at Wal-Mart so only $1.50 a piece. Cha-Ching! Cheaper than a yard of fleece at the Fabric store. They had to be packed quickly for the move. Sorry you didn't get to see them all.

Then I had some fun at Hobby Lobby. If you don't have one I definitely encourage you to stop at one if you ever make it to Oklahoma. Their everyday prices are high but I love their sales and clearance.

I found these adorably cutting boards ( which you can never have too many of) on clearance for $5.00  a piece.

Then I stopped by Ross. If you don't have one or haven't been to it  you should sooooooooo stop by. They clearance out high-end merchandise and irregulars at fairly reasonable prices. My only hint to you is that if you buy curtains or sheets there make sure you open them before you leave and make sure they aren't irregular and that your curtain lengths match. Lots of trial and error! Trust Me! It's worth it.

They were clearancing out the Snuggies for doggies! Hey, Doggies need gifts too! I bought two at $2.99 each but for the life of me I could only find one.

Then I got a little carried away at Walgreens! It all started off with the $3.00 profit I made per bottle on the natural Melatonin sleeping aid. I couldn't tell you what box they are currently packed in but they are around.

So I took the profit and bought all this and paid tax.

Foil was on sale for 69 cents and straws for 39 cents. It was a great way to spend my profit.

I also bought all the bleach and made a profit on all the hair things. I should never have a bad hair day again! Lol! It should say manufacturer guarantee!

Now to finish out the last of the shopping trip you know I wasn't going home without all of these. Now I paid a mere $1.00 a package after Register Rewards. They made fabulous stocking stuffers!

Mom and Grandma loved that I filled their stocking with the arthritis pain reliever too!

Now I can't begin to tell you or show you the insane amount of Christmas Clearance and Fall clearance I bought. It will have to wait until later in the year! It went from the van into the boxes and that's where it's staying until it's time to decorate again for the holidays!

Sorry Charlie!

Well bare with me for awhile I have to get back to unpacking.

The boxes just keep coming! I don't know where it all comes from.

As you can see I'm buried in boxes.

Well give me a day or two and I will show you the fabulous finds I have found while clearance shopping for home stuff for my new house!

Check back in this weekend. Remember, it's always a frugal weekend at The Cute Couponer

Chillin At The Mall

What's a girl to do on a triple digit Saturday afternoon? Shopping of course. My friend Amy and I decided to try and check out some Summer clearance deals and this is what we found.

First up was JCPenney's.

We found mineral make-up on clearance for $5.00. I have always wanted to try this stuff but I wasn't willing to pay $100 bucks a pop.  I also found these adorable flavored chapsticks for under $2.00.
Total for make-up and chapstick = $12.00 + tax  Savings =90%

The best part of it all was this...

Super Duper yummy treats.... 8 bags to be exact... absolutely free !!!! Turns out Meals On Wheels didn't  pick up the day old treats and they were happy to get rid of them. They gave us over $100.00 worth of baked goods absolutely free. This was enough to keep a smile on my face all weekend.

Make sure you check back tom. for the unbelievable designer clothing deals I  found. It will blow your mind!!!

IF THE SHOE FITS

Nothing in this world makes you feel good instantly quite like a great pair of shoes. Whether they cost $5.00 or $500.00 doesn't matter, only that wow I look good no matter how much I weigh feeling does. Shoes do something to women to make them feel so good about themselves. Ace the job interview, attract the cutest guy, upstage your competition no matter what it is, you totally rock when you have the right pair of shoes!!!!!

Cha -Ching Baby!!!

Look what $7.00 Summer clearance looks like.

      You heard me right!

These are the last denim pair in Oklahoma City and I persuaded the sales rep to let me have them for $19.99. He was saving them for his girlfriend but he told her they were already sold. Don't worry it was his oops not mine. The odds were in my favor.  Go visit Payless today!

  Now for my comfy finale.

Nothing fancy I know but for $2.00 bucks sold!!!!!

Valerie's Valentine Clearance

Woo Hoo the pictures are in.

Remember how I was griping last week about the stores having like nothing on sale after Valentine's Day for a decent price?  Monday I finally got over it and look what I found. Plastic plates for .37 a piece (these will work all Spring) Colorful plastic cups 4 packs at .37 a package (will work all Summer long) and you know I was in heaven when I found the most fabulous  frosted sugar cookie and icing mix for .75 a package. It makes 24. I know we are not to clear the shelf but all is fair in love and sugar cookies! I bought all 18.

If you really want to have some fun stroll to the lingerie section at Wally World (aka Wal-Mart Super Center) and look at all the cotton nightgowns with hearts on them. Pick them up and head over to the scanner. They are not marked but ringing up at $2.50 a piece. (Can I get a Cha-Ching Cha-Ching ?)

Now my favorite of all. Hot pink Plastic Tablecloths for .19 a piece. I use one all Spring. I don't have to buy them again for 5 years. How cool is that?

Finally back to my beloved Target. I bought all those window clings for .10 a piece. While I was there  I also found these adorable baby shirts on an end cap that will work perfect for my munchkins that say "Puppy Love" for .50 a piece. 2 more rolls of Valentine's Wrapping Paper at .19 a piece and the must adorable shirt for my baby "Eloise" for a quarter.

I love Target and Target loves Me.

Now toss back a few cosmos and run don't walk to Wal-Mart and Target and cash in.
