Oh Say Does That Star Spangled Banner Yet Wave

Happy Memorial Day weekend to all my fellow couponers! I can't believe it's already the end of May. Today I was thinking of all the things I have to get accomplished this weekend, including a quick run to Walgreens and CVS,  and I sat down and started thinking in the grand scheme of things so many of these things don't matter. Memorial Day is to remember and honor those we have loved and have lost. I am so grateful we live in a country where we get to make our own decisions. Granted, we have lost many civil liberties but as a whole if we set our mind to it there isn't anything we can't accomplish. I am so grateful for the brave men and women who leave their families and loved ones to go oversees and fight a war so we can stay free. If you see a soldier this weekend shake their hand and say thank you. Just for this weekend let's step back and think about those selfless people who made a life changing decision to help make our lives better. Girl Going Wild

So once again mom and grandma are sick again and I am back to the world of work. I thought I would take my coupons to work and on my lunch hour get to cut them but that hasn't worked out so well. The best way to clip is at the hospital. It's amazing what you can get done when you  plant your hiney in a chair for hours minus the interruptions of course.

I will let you know in a few days what I'm buying this week I haven't really looked at this morning's ads yet. So in the meantime enjoy your Sunday and once my laptop arrives I will finally be back to updating daily instead of once a week and you can see what I get on  a more regular basis.

Pillsbury and Spring

I want to give a special thanks to Pillsbury for sending me a wonderful Spring party hostess pack. Pillsbury has some absolutely fabulous ideas for new foods this season. Who knew all the cool recipes you could make with crescent rolls.

Happy Mothers Day

Sticker Shock

 

 Well it's already Saturday morning and I'm as sick as ever. As a bad little couponer lately I haven't been stockpiling allergy sinus cold type stuff and low and behold I got a sinus infection. After several trips around town trying to find Mucinex, of which I have no coupons for, I finally found the off-brand for get this $14.00. AGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Did you hear my scream? If not I can do it again.
Now of course desperate times call for desperate measures but really $14.00 for an off-brand !!!
So I guess I will have to get a little more disciplined. We can all stop laughing now !!!!!

  When I get feeling better this weekend I wanna share with you the cool things Pillsbury sent me in the mail to be a Spring hostess it was a great time.
